I brainstormed several ideas as to what I could use for a logo for Bella Vita. For years, I've wanted a tattoo of a hummingbird on the top of my foot in memory of my Grandma Dorothy(my mom's mother) because it was her favorite bird. Then last year when my Grandma Margaret died (dad's mother) I decided I would have a humming flying over a Lily, because that was her favorite flower. The two together represent both of my grandmother's. Since Project Bella Vita is made in their memory, that worked perfectly for my logo.


In Native American culture, a hummingbird symbolizes timless joy and the Nectar of Life. It's a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible and will teach you how to find the miracle of joyful living from your own life circumstances. Tiger lily's represent pride. I feel like i hit the nail on the head!


What I've worked out is only a draft. I've got a long way to go with it, but hopefully it will come together soon :) Let me know what you think!
